Construction on the West (southbound) Sammamish River Bridge Replacement project is expected to begin the first week of March 2020 and will last through Fall 2022, pending any project changes or weather impacts.
Once construction starts, traffic will be significantly affected. When driving through that area, please be prepared to allow additional time to reach your destination or plan for alternative routes.
Later in 2020, traffic will be additionally impacted by construction on two voter-approved Walkways & Waterways projects: 68th Avenue NE Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Improvements and Juanita Drive NE Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Improvements.
