West Sammamish bridge work continues 24/7 in the water

Construction crews will be permitted to work in the water 24/7 during the limited “fish window," from July 1 to Aug. 31, which is the time that causes the least disruption to fish migration. Divers are currently working in the water during the day and at night to remove old bridge piers. During night work, neighbors can expect to see lights and hear generator noise near the bridge.

Parking at the Kenmore boat launch is available but limited, and "No Stopping or Standing" signs have been posted at the entrance. Additional parking is available in the right-of-way on NE 175th St, west of 68th Ave.

While in-water work is taking place, the contractor may intermittently close waterway access for safety. For more information on the waterway closures, see Current Construction Activity

Construction is expected to last until fall 2022
