Kenmore Community Club needs your help
In March 1930 the current Kenmore Community Club hall opened with a newly purchased piano and the residents celebrated their new community hall with music and dance. Over the next 93 years the people of Kenmore enjoyed great moments at KCC.
This historic landmark brought young and old together to celebrate life’s milestones, share meals, laugh and learn from each other. In short, the hall has served as a place to connect with one another and help build the Kenmore community.
Making our landmark hall a place we all enjoy requires periodic maintenance and renovation. Over the past 10 years, the club has undergone new roofing and siding, new flooring, and a renovated kitchen.
Now we are renovating the foyer and bathrooms to bring our facilities up to modern standards and offer a new level of comfort for our guests. Thanks to a Landmarks Capital grant from the 4Culture foundation, the renovation is almost complete.
We are so close! We've passed framing, plumbing, and electrical, inspections. However, due to unforeseen complications common to any renovation project, we are asking the Kenmore Community for a little help.
We need to raise an additional $5,000 to finish the job!
Any donation will be greatly appreciated, even $5 makes a difference. Major donations of $1000 or more will be honored with prominent placement on our donor wall. As a 501c3 organization, all donations to the Kenmore Community Club are tax deductible.
