The newest KCC Board Member introduces herself

My name is Angela La Tourette.  While I have not been able to attend events as much as I would like as my children are growing, I am excited to come back to the club and fill a board position again. 

I have been attending potlucks’ throughout my life since 1984 when I was 8 years old.  The club took a risk on me and allowed me to be the treasurer at 18 with overseeing by my Mom (current treasurer Kathi Straw).  I again came back to the board when my children were little and would bring my infant and toddler to meetings when needed. 

Angela gave her wish list to Santa at the annual KCC Christmas potluck. (Circa 1986)

I have wonderful memories when there were many more people involved and I am hoping that one day we can bring people together again for community events and camaraderie.

I look forward to once again helping with the club and hope to see you at a meeting soon.
