Deadline for nominations is Nov. 15
This year the Kenmore Heritage Society is expanding its McMaster Heritage Award program to include young people 16 to 18 years who have made significant contributions to the community. The nomination process for the young people is the same as for adult nominees.
The award honors a local citizen who, through selfless giving of time and talent has made a significant positive difference in the Kenmore Community.
The Heritage Society encourages local service clubs, PTAs, businesses, and private individuals to submit nominations. The deadline for nominations is Nov. 15. The award will be presented at the annual Kenmore Founder’s Day celebration.
That celebration was held at the Kenmore Community Club in February in year’s past, but amid the current pandemic restrictions a date for the ceremony will be determined and announced at a later date.
