Wait, what? Thought the legislature passed the law to quit the biannual switch in time?
Well the Washington state legislature did pass the law that will eliminate switching between Standard and Daylight time every spring and fall, but there was a catch.
Although signed into law by Governor Inslee, the law requires approval from Congress and that has not happened, consequently, for now we’ll be falling back as always, this year on Sunday, Nov. 3 and spring forward on March 8, 2020 unless Congress approves the change by then.
On the bright side, you get to sleep in an extra hour this weekend.
