Explore your inner artist at Kenmore Library

Friday, Sept. 12, 2-4pm

Description: Come to the library to create casual art in a relaxed and friendly environment with basic arts supplies, tea, snacks and quiet music. You can also bring your own project to work on!


In September there will be a variety of supplies from past art drop-ins for you to use in any way you wish: Coloring, watercolors, sumi-e, Sharpie tie-dye, embroidery, collage, paper beads, origami,1.5" button-making, and 3D pens.

In-Person Talk Time Class

Thursdays, 10am-12pm.

Description: Practice speaking English with other English language learners and trained conversation helpers. All levels are welcome.

Registration not required.

Tuesday, September 2, 4-5pm

Description: Play and practice chess! All skill levels are welcome.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Kenmore Library.

Ages 9 and older, ages 8 and younger with adult.

Description: The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb. Please register to receive discussion questions. If you register, you will be emailed a link the day before the program, so that you can attend online if you wish. Register for each session that you wish to attend. Walk-ins welcome. Description: In September, we continue our series of Seattle and Washington Authors with:

Misunderstood Vegetables: How to Fall in Love With Sunchokes, Rutabaga, Eggplant, and More by Becky Selengut.

Try making one or more recipes of your choice from this month’s cookbook! Send a photo of your finished dish to the librarian host along with brief comments about your experience. We cannot share food at these meetings, but we will watch a slide show of our cooking adventures and share successes and failures!
