Neil Simon classic set for Kenmore Community Club debut

The Heart Repertory Theatre group led by Hjalmer Anderson is set to kick of its 2022 season at the Kenmore Community Club with the Tony Award winning Neil Simon play, Chapter Two beginning a 12-show run April 15, 2022. Performances will be Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm and Sunday at 5pm through May 1.

The Simon comedy finds George Schneider and Jennie Malone, two not-so-young lovers, diving headlong into romance after their first marriages end. Will they find their true love or will the echoes of their past prevail? Meanwhile, his brother and her best friend are looking for a love connection in all the wrong places.

Based on the true story of Simon's second marriage, Chapter Two is packed with his signature repartee while also exploring the profound and soft space of hearts being healed.

HEART Repertory started as an online performance troupe during the first months of 2020 and is now stepping out onto the boards for live performances starting in 2022. Directed by HEART’s Artistic Director, Hjalmer Anderson, the cast features veteran actors Niki Flynn as

Jennie Malone, Jeff Pettiross as George Schneider, Josiah Miller as Leo Schneider, and Jordan Kerbs as Faye Medwick.
