Description: Birding or Beethoven? Film festivals or photography? Whatever you're interested in, Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) has the learning adventure for you. In addition, you can win free trips, get financial assistance, and more. Come to the Kenmore Library Nov. 2, to learn about the Road Scholar program. This nonprofit organization dedicated to educational travel opportunities for older adults has chapters in almost every U.S. state, in nearly 100 countries, and aboard ships on rivers and oceans worldwide.

The following are programs for Adults and All Ages happening at the Kenmore Library in November
Thursdays, 10am-12pm. (No session Nov. 28)
Description: Practice speaking with other English language learners. Learn about American culture and meet people from around the world.
Friday, November 8, 2-4pm
Description: Come to the library to create casual art in a relaxed and friendly environment. We will have basic arts supplies, tea and snacks and quiet music. You can also bring your own project to work on!
In November, experiment with paper quilling! Roll strips of paper into colorful shapes and glue them onto a card to create an image. Very minimal instruction.
Drop in at any time.

Description: PNW Veg: 100 Vegetable Recipes Inspired by the Local Bounty of the Pacific Northwest by Kim O'Donnel. In November, explore our own Pacific Northwest!
Author Kim O'Donnel will be joining us online! Our regular meeting time has been extended to 8pm to allow for extra discussion and Q&A.
Try making one or more recipes of your choice from this month’s cookbook! Send a photo of your finished dish to the librarian host along with brief comments about your experience. We cannot share food at these meetings, but we will watch a slide show of our cooking adventures and share successes and failures!
