The 73rd avenue NE sidewalk repair project between NE 181st street and 192nd,
and between NE 169th street to NE 170th is set to begin this spring. Project improvements include:
New dedicated bike lanes with buffered curb
Sidewalk repair and replacement along 73rd Ave using PermaTrak Sidewalks in some locations to preserve as many trees as possible
Replacement of six curb ramps in compliance with ADA requirements
A new pedestrian crosswalk flasher at NE 169th street
On-street parking along the east side of 73rd avenue NE will be removed
