Nature walk set for May 21 Wallace Swamp Creek Park

If you enjoy exploring the natural outdoors, you are invited to participate in the City’s free nature walks this summer! On the third Tuesday of each month, April through October, the City of Kenmore’s volunteer leader Linda Phillips is offering guided tours of Wallace Swamp Creek Park.

The nature walk will be approximately 1.5 - 2 hours and will explore two miles of paved and primitive trails through the 25 acres of the park. Linda will focus on the plants and animals seen in the park.

Tours start at 9:00 a.m. at the kiosk at Wallace Swamp Creek Park parking lot, 19851 73rd Avenue NE, Kenmore. Sign-in and registration will take place the morning of each tour. Participants under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent. This is a fun and educational summer event series that will help you take advantage of the long beautiful summer days as well as expand your knowledge of the natural world.

Bring a pair of binoculars and a love for the outdoors!
