The Kenmore Police Department consists of 13 commissioned Officers, 11 of which are assigned to patrol. In 2022 the department responded to nearly 3,400 calls for service, and initiated in excess of 6,200 contacts. Officers engage with the community in local events, in schools, and in a collaborative approach to address crime trends.
Kenmore also has invested in a partnership with the Regional Crisis Response (RCR) agency, a collaboration between Kenmore, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Bothell, and Kirkland that provides Officers access to Mental Health Professionals (MHP) for assistance at calls involving those in crisis. These trained Crisis Responders also conduct follow-up with those members of the community that would benefit from additional resources and support.
