Measles-infected nurse visited Safeway in Kenmore

A Children's Hospital nurse has been diagnosed with measles bringing the number of King County cases to 11.

The nurse reported spending time in Kenmore on July 10, while potentially infectious. She may have been contagious while at the Safeway at 6850 Northeast Bothell Way from 8:30-11 a.m., according to Public Health — Seattle and King County.

Her diagnosis has County Health officials puzzled. The nurse works in the inpatient department at Children's, which said in a statement that she had been vaccinated against the disease and had worn fully protective equipment when working with patients.

The full list of places she visited while infectious is here.
