Looking to start a business? Applications for Startup425 now open

Applications are now open for the next Startup425 Accelerator program, offering entrepreneurs and founders in western Washington an opportunity to turn their ideas into a business. Bothell residents looking to start a small business or raise capital for the first time are encouraged to apply.

The Startup425 Accelerator program is a free 15-week educational program designed to help new entrepreneurs rapidly develop their business idea and launch a company while learning essential business skills.

Weekly sessions meet virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The program for Cohort 6 runs from late August to early December, beginning with orientation for admitted founders on August 24.

Admissions preference is given to founders living or building in one of the six Startup425 partner cities (Bothell, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Kirkland, and Issaquah), but any founder located in western Washington is eligible for consideration.

The program kicks off on August 24; learn more and apply today at  startup425.org/accelerator.

Looking to connect with other entrepreneurs and share your startup expertise and experience? Reach out to business@bothellwa.gov about becoming a mentor in the accelerator program. Time required to mentor can be as short as one 2-hour session and does not require attendance of all 15 weeks.
