Landmark commission approves club tool shed


The King County Landmarks commission approved the Kenmore Community Club's plan to construct a tool shed on the property at its virtual meeting July 23, 2020. The only stipulations placed on the project were painting to match the main building and roofing to match the new building.


The project scope actually fell under the Type II category for design review, entailing a Certificate of Appropriateness (CoA) application and determination hearing by the Kenmore Landmarks Commission.


Following the meeting, the club was issued the Certificate of Appropriateness allowing construction of the shed kit to begin immediately. The new shed will be located in the northeast corner of the parking lot in unused space next to the handicap parking slot.
