The Kenmore Police Department, in partnership with King County Sheriff’s Office, is proud to join the BlueBridge Alliance, a nonprofit that helps officers provide immediate support to community members in crisis.
Assistance can include food, clothing, shelter, transportation, or help with essential medication. These interactions give officers a chance to connect with residents in need, including those experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or other crises.
BlueBridge provides police agencies with pre-loaded debit cards for officers to use in the field, a user-friendly technology platform for program management and reporting, and ongoing support from the organization's experienced team.
Kenmore Police Department joins dozens of other Washington state police departments around the state including Mountlake Terrace, Woodinville, Redmond, Sammamish and Sound Transit Police to name a few, who are participating in this program.
Community support for BlueBridge comes from each community's donations and go directly to Kenmore community members. The BlueBridge Alliance will match the first $2,500 contributed locally. Click here to donate.
