Kenmore Community Club hosted POP!More Kenmore Markets | Oktoberfest

Hank Heron, the City of Kenmore's mascot visited and posed for pictures with festival participants at the POP!More Market hosted by the Kenmore Community Club as part of the Kenmore's 3rd Annual Oktoberfest. Several vendors who participated in the Pop!More Kenmore Markets provided festival goers with an array of treats ranging from hotdogs, ice cream and pretzels along with displays of jewelry, soothing scents, and musical instruments on Sat., Sept. 19 from noon to 5pm.

The weeklong event kicked off on Saturday, Sept. 12 with the 5k/10 Flyaway fun run beginning and ending at Copperworks Distillery followed by Family Day at Kenmore Air.

The week of festivities continued with the traditional Firkin keg tapping at Post Doc Brewery on Thursday, Beer Garden and Bavarian music on Friday and Saturday at Copperworks, and the popular Weiner Dog Races at St. Edwards Park, and Pop!More Market at Kenmore Community Club. The festival wrapped up on Sunday with Oktoberfest Games and closing celebration at Stoup Brewing on Sunday.

Many thanks to Nicole Suarez, Community & Business Engagement Coordinator for the City of Kenmore, Angela La Tourette, Kenmore Community Club Manager, Kathi Straw, Treasurer Kenmore Community Club, Fernell Miller, Vice President Kenmore Community Club and all the vendors who made the market a fun success! as well as presenting sponsors Wright Investments Properties and School of Rock, Woodinville, and major sponsors Copperworks Distillery, Postdoc Brewing, the City of Kenmore, Kenmore Air, Stoup Brewing, Northshore Rotary, Kenmore Community Club, and the Bothell-Kenmore Chamber of Commerce.
