In September, 8 Kenmore Community Rowing Club members had the incredible experience of rowing the club's newly acquired WinTech King 8+ racing shell home from UW’s historic Conibear Shellhouse to Kenmore.
This milestone shows how far the club has come as it marks the next step in competing alongside other Pacific Northwest programs. Our new shell will make its racing debut at the Tail of the Lake Regatta on Oct. 5, on Lake Union, where we’ll row with our youth partners from the Northshore School District.

In addition, the club also purchased a new Vespoli 4-/4x-, a world class shell design that was crewed by the Canadian Olympic 4s team. Some KCRC members may have already had the chance to row it, but we’re thrilled to officially announce that the club has decided to purchase this versatile shell. This addition strengthens the club's fleet and provides even more opportunities for our rowers to develop their skills and compete.
A huge THANK YOU to all our members who have helped make this possible!
