The Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area (NPRSA) is studying potential options for a new community center in northern King County. The NPRSA wants to creatively plan for a space that focuses on our local youth and that is inclusive of broader community needs.
Before they can envision a new center or facility, they need to better understand community needs and desires, what programming it could include, what facilities it might have, and where it might be. Visit nprsawa.org to learn more about their plans, take their survey, and sign up for the email list.
The NPRSA is a special tax district established by voters in 1988 and expanded in 2001. The purpose of the NPRSA is to levy taxes and to use the revenue to develop, build, and maintain parks and recreation facilities to serve the residents of Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville, King and Snohomish Counties.
