Learn about a free program for older adults in King County to receive services such as in-home caregiving, home-delivered meals, massage, and more! Join an information session on Medical Alternative Care (MAC) and Tailored Support for Older Adults (TSOA) with representatives from Neighborhood House. Bring your questions for a Q&A session after the presentation.

Description: Practice speaking English with other English language learners and trained conversation helpers. All levels are welcome..

Description: Play and practice chess! All skill levels are welcome.

Friday, November 14, 2-4pm

Description: Come to the library to create casual art in a relaxed and friendly environment with basic arts supplies, tea, snacks and quiet music. You can also bring your own project to work on!

In November, craft with tissue paper! You will get a small amount of instruction on a suggested craft, and a then a lot of time to experiment. Feel free to bring items you would like to collage tissue paper on to. Drop in at any time.

Description: In November, we continue our series of Seattle and Washington Authors with:

Pasta for All Seasons: Dishes That Celebrate the Flavors of Italy and the Bounty of the Pacific Northwest by Michela Tartaglia.

Try making one or more recipes of your choice from this month’s cookbook! Send a photo of your finished dish to the librarian host along with brief comments about your experience. We cannot share food at these meetings, but we will watch a slide show of our cooking adventures and share successes and failures!
