Kenmore residents with financial need qualify for free swim lessons at the YMCA

The City of Kenmore encourages water safety and swimming classes for all of its residents.
Voucher request applications are available through the City of Kenmore Recreation Reservations website.
Each voucher is valid for 2026 registration dates for group swim lesson sessions at the Northshore YMCA, 11811 NE 195th St, Bothell, WA 98011. Up to two vouchers may be approved per household. Additional vouchers may be requested and approved as available at the full discretion of the program. Vouchers may only be used toward age appropriate, group session, water safety and/or swim lesson at the YMCA.
The Northshore YMCA current full cost of each swim session:
$200 per participant per eight lesson 30 minute sessions for current Northshore YMCA Members
$300 per participant per eight lesson 30 minute sessions for non-YMCA members.

Vouchers expire Dec. 31, 2026, have no cash value and cannot be used toward any other YMCA program or membership.
The City of Kenmore Council encourages and supports the importance of creating activities and recreational opportunities for families and various age groups within the community.
