The Kenmore Community Club stopped taking rental reservations in mid-March following Governor Jay Inslee’s order banning gatherings of 50 or more.
That resulted in the rescheduling of the As If Theatre’ s production of The Cake, that had been scheduled from March 19 - April 5. Cindy Giese French the Kenmore’s theatre company has rescheduled for a run Oct. 29 through Nov. 15. In addition to The Cake, there have been a few cancellations of private rentals
The club’s board of directors is re-evaluating the situation to determine how long the closure will last. Beyond May, most weekends remain booked through November.
