City Facility Closures & Operational Changes

Writer: kencomclubkencomclub

The coronavirus pandemic continues to spread in our region, and we all need to take additional steps to slow the spread.  State and federal health officials continue to provide even more aggressive guidance for the public and employers. In addition, Kenmore city staffing is more limited due to at-risk employees staying home, school closures, etc.

As a result, the City is currently operating with the following changes:

  • Kenmore City Hall will be closed to the public starting Monday, March 16, 2020 through April 24, 2020.  City employees will continue report to work and the receptionist will continue to answer the City’s main phone line (425-398-8900). We continue to encourage the public to conduct city business via telephone and online methods. Non-city employee visitors may enter Kenmore City Hall by appointment only. The city employee authorizing the appointment will provide the visitor with instructions on how to enter City Hall, including certification that the visitor is free of COVID-19 symptoms. Recycling of medicine, batteries, and bulbs will not be accepted at this time; please do not leave items outside of City Hall.

  • Beginning on Monday, March 16, the public portion of the Hangar Community Building will be closed to the public through April 24th, 2020.  The portion of the Hangar leased by Diva Espresso will continue to be open for business.  Diva Espresso will take additional precautions and may choose to operate at limited hours. Diva Espresso patrons will be able to enter the Hangar via the south door.

  • The Kenmore Senior Center is closed until further notice. The Northshore Senior Center is providing a variety of services to seniors in our area during this time. Click here for more information.
